If you truly want to join the World of Warcraft QC revolution but find that you don't have the time or the inclination to play the online role playing game, you always have the option of trying out some of the other Warcraft QC games. And if you wanted to first get a taste for the game before you buy it, you can always try out the Warcraft QC III demo.
This small piece of Warcraft QC saga will be sure to whet your appetite for Warcraft QC and keep you coming back for more. You could start at the very beginning, Warcraft QC: Orcs & Humans and go on from there.
Or you could even go to the second part in the Warcraft QC legacy and start off with Warcraft QC II: the Frozen Throne. Or you could just download the Warcraft QC III demo right now (since you're reading this) and start playing right away.
You will find immediately you start playing that you are catapulted into the Warcraft QC saga, with all of its epic battles and quests. With the Warcraft QC III demo you will still have all of the functionality of the normal game, with the exception that you will only have a few missions to carry out.
The first two of these missions on the downloaded Warcraft QC III demo version will introduce you to the basics of Warcraft QC III: Reign of Chaos. The remaining three missions that you will have in the Warcraft QC III demo will all be geared towards normal play.
As an added incentive you also have the option to use Battle.net to play your Warcraft QC III demo online with your friends, just like in World if Warcraft QC.
It's also relatively easy to find and download so even that aspect will pose no problem if you want to try out the Warcraft QC III demo.
The download for the Warcraft QC III demo is about 100MB in size so you really need to have a broadband connection to get things going. If you're still unfortunately stuck in the land that time (and broadband) forgot and you still have a dial up connection, it's just not going to happen, at least not in this century.
There's no way that you can download the 100MB Warcraft QC III demo without wanting to bash your head in for even attempting it. That said, if you're lucky enough to have a broadband connection the just go for it. The reviews that the Warcraft QC III demo received when it finally went live shows just how well Blizzard scored this time round as well.
